Tax Credit Mismatch, on the form 26AS for current fiscal

I maintain fixed deposits on 2 banks. After the interest crossed the threshold limit of Rs 10K, the TDS was deducted on interest. But when I check online, i.e. on form 26AS, only the TDS deducted by one bank is being reflected their, not from the other. When I tried to file a rectification request, it was asking for the TAN number of the particular bank branch, which I’m unable to find. What can I do to resolve this?

You will have to approach your bank for asking them to pay the TDS deducted to the Income tax Department. The TDS will automatically reflect in the form 26AS. No other action is required from your end.

    Thanks,
