For LTA performed by private taxi, following amount will be allowed as exempt:

    1. If two spots are connected by rail then, AC first class rail fare for shortest route, should be claimed or actual amount spent on travel whichever is less.
    2. If two spots are not connected by rail but, connected by public transport then, the amount of first-class/ deluxe class/ AC first-class fare for shortest route, whichever is lower, should be claimed.
    3. If two spots are not connected by rail or public transport then, the amount of first class or deluxe class fare of such transport used for travel, by shortest route or actual amount spent on travel, whichever is less.
