    Hi,

You need to file the Form 10E with the return filing else the relief considered in the return is treated as invalid.

    You can go through https://www.hrblock.in/guides/form-10e-avail-tax-relief-89-1/

    Thanks,

It is mandatory to fill Form 10E before filling return and you can avail the benefit of salary arrears u/s 89(1). This section is already available in ITR form. https://financialcontrol.in/tax-relief-under-section-891-on-salary-arrears/
